Greens furnish Glasgow store with exterior signage

Greens The Signmakers announce the successful completion of an exterior sign package for Furniture Village’s largest store to date

This flagship Glasgow location spans almost 50,000 square feet, marking a significant milestone for Furniture Village and one of Greens’ most substantial single-site projects in recent months.

As part of the project, a total of seven internally illuminated flex face signs were manufactured and installed, including a striking main elevation sign measuring 16 metres wide by 5.5 metres tall, offering exceptional brand visibility.

A 45-metre-long set of 1.6-metre-tall, trough-lit aluminium letters, spelling ‘Our Biggest Furniture and Beds Store’, created a standout feature across the store’s north elevation.

In addition, Greens produced a bespoke fret-cut totem and complementary freestander, both featuring push-through opal acrylic letters with internal illumination, alongside several additional freestanding signs enhanced with powder-coated finishes and vinyl-applied details.

Further graphic treatments include vinyl applications to window interiors and exteriors, enhancing the store’s brand presence throughout the customer journey. We strategically installed double-sided flags and large-format banners across the plot to maximise visibility from all approaches.

Greens say they are proud to have played a part in this accomplishment for Furniture Village, building on their almost decade-long relationship with the brand. These results, they say, demonstrate their commitment to quality and pace of delivery, regardless of scale.

“We are thrilled to officially open the doors to our brand-new flagship store in Glasgow. This is more than just a store opening—it’s a bold new chapter for Furniture Village.” commented Charlie Harrison, Managing Director at Furniture Village. We’ve taken everything our customers already love about us and scaled it up – this is our largest store ever.”
