CMYUK appoints Steve Evans as Application Specialist

CMYUK continues its service department expansion with the appointment of Steve Evans as an Application Specialist/Installation Engineer

Steve Evans has joined CMYUK as an Application Specialist/Installation Engineer.  This appointment reflects CMYUK’s ongoing growth and success of its service department, which plays a key role in supporting customers across the UK.

Steve will be responsible for installations, technical training, and applications support with a particular focus on the highly successful range of JWEI digital cutting tables, exclusively available from CMYUK.

He brings 28 years of hands-on experience in wide format hardware, RIP software, finishing equipment, and system integration. Previously a Senior Installations Engineer at ArtSystems – and before that at Colourgen – he was responsible for the setup and training of a wide range of technologies.  This covered inkjet printers, cutters, laminators, and RIP software across Windows, Mac, and Linux systems.  He was also closely involved in product testing, colour profiling, and developing benchmark standards for materials and performance.
