The Zünd UK Open Day brought together print service providers, sign makers, display manufacturers and businesses looking at digital cutting and workflow automation for the first time, alongside established producers wanting to scale up existing operations. Live demonstrations covered digital cutting, routing, automation and software workflow integration, with applications spanning graphics, signage, display and textile production.

Much of the day focused on linking design, print and finishing into a single workflow, with attendees getting a look at how automation can cut down on manual handling and keep production more consistent. Visitors also had the chance to talk through applications one to one with the team and with technology partner swissQprint, who joined Zünd on the floor for the day.

Gaj Jeevanandan, marketing manager at Zünd UK, says, “Seeing such a strong turnout from across the industry was incredibly encouraging. It was fantastic to welcome so many businesses looking to explore the latest high-end printing, cutting and finishing technologies, and to discuss how these solutions can help drive productivity, quality and long-term growth.”

“The level of engagement throughout the day demonstrated the continued appetite for innovation and investment within the graphics and signage sector,” he concludes.

Event partners Compass Finance and FESPA UK also supported the day.
