The Print and Cut with Mimaki and Trotec showcase will be held in Edinburgh on Tuesday 29th and Wednesday 30th October.
After a successful Open House at Trotec Boldon in the North East, YPS will be bringing Mimaki UV LED and solvent technology to the Trotec showroom in Edinburgh. The event will take place across two days on Tuesday 29th and Wednesday 30th October between 10am and 3pm.
This event will offer attendees the opportunity to explore products from both Trotec and Mimaki with demonstrations and experts on hand to offer advice.
“We’re very excited to team up with Trotec again to highlight Mimaki UV printing alongside their range of laser engravers and cutters,” says Georgia Brown, YPS Managing Director. “This event at their Edinburgh showroom will give visitors an opportunity to see how the Mimaki UJF flatbed printer range and Trotec Speedy range work hand in hand for creative print and laser applications.”
The Mimaki UJF-6042 mkII e UV flatbed offers a range of possible applications when used in conjunction with a Trotec laser cutter. There will be demonstrations showing the print and cut potential when paired with the Trotec Speedy 400 laser engraver and cutter.
The newly announced Mimaki CJV200-160 will be making its Scottish debut at the event following its launch at The Print Show 2024 in September. This new solvent print and cut machine offers new budget bs4 and sustainable ss22 inksets as well as a high practical print speed of 17sqm/h in a new look machine.
YPS will also be bringing the Mimaki UCJV330-160 UV roll to roll printer, which will be the first time this printer has been shown within Scotland. This Open House event will be an exciting opportunity for visitors to see the potential of Trotec and Mimaki together and as well as provide inspiration for new applications and revenue streams.
Brown continues, “As well as Mimaki UV flatbed technology, there will also be the opportunity to see the new Mimaki CJV200-160 solvent printer cutter and UCJV330-160 UV printer cutter. For those interested in print and cut applications, this event will be a must attend and will offer the chance to get up close to some great machines from both Trotec and Mimaki.”
