William Smith Group 1832 has expanded its UK portfolio with the addition of two new 3M™ Paint Protection Film products, giving installers more choice when it comes to protecting customer vehicles.
William Smith Group 1832 has announced that the new 3M™ Paint Protection Film Series 100 Gloss and the 3M™ Paint Protection Film Series 150 Gloss are available exclusively in the UK from them.

Both films deliver high clarity, strong protection, and feature self-healing technology that allows minor scratches to disappear over time.
Paint Protection Films (PPF) are clear polyurethane films applied to vulnerable areas of a vehicle to help guard against damage from stones, scratches, salt, bugs, keys, and the elements. Professionally installed, they preserve the look of the paintwork while adding long-lasting protection.
Series 100 Gloss is designed for everyday protection, shielding paint from stone chips, scratches, and stains. Ideal for professional installation on either flat or complex surfaces, it also includes a 7-year 3M warranty.
Series 150 Gloss is aimed at installers requiring greater ease and precision of application. It offers robust protection against chips and scratches, plus a 10-year 3M warranty, for installations that need to look good for longer. Its wider film options also make it suitable for full-vehicle coverage.
Both films feature a hydrophobic finish that repels water and dirt and are virtually invisible once applied.

With cloud-based editing, teams can collaborate on patterns from any device, saving time and ensuring consistent results across every install.
“As the exclusive supplier of these products, we are giving installers direct access to 3M’s latest PPF innovations, delivering protection, performance and peace of mind,” says Lindsay Hutchinson, Head of Marketing at William Smith Group 1832. “We have our own PPF experts in Neil and Michael who are always on hand to help installers select the right products and to make sure they get the most from our broad range of films and software.”
They conclude, “For vehicle wrappers, installers, and sign-makers, these 3M PPF products offer professional-grade performance with high levels of visual clarity and durability. They protect vehicles while preserving the brilliance of the paint, keeping customers happy and helping businesses build a strong reputation for quality work.
