Trade supplier Ultima Displays hosts over 100 UK visitors at its Summer Open Days, detailing new exhibition hardware and AI productivity tools.
Ultima Displays has hosted more than 100 industry professionals from across the UK at its recent Summer Open Days. The two-day interactive event, held at the company’s central manufacturing and showroom facility, was designed to give trade buyers a hands-on preview of upcoming hardware innovations, digital workflow tools and live production processes.

A core feature of the open days was a dedicated development zone where visitors could critique prototype display solutions currently in the design pipeline. By gathering direct feedback from frontline trade installers, the manufacturer aims to align its research and development cycle with immediate market demands. Alongside the hardware showcases, the event featured practical artificial intelligence workshops, demonstrating how signage and print companies can deploy modern digital tools to streamline day-to-day administrative tasks and improve business productivity.
The event also integrated a charitable initiative, hosting a raffle that raised funds for the Andrew Grene Foundation’s educational work in Haiti. Attendees participated in an engaging question-and-answer session with former England international footballer Peter Reid, who also signed football memorabilia for the charity prize draw.
Andrew Cushing, Managing Director of Ultima Displays, said, ‘Our aim was to give customers the opportunity to see our latest developments, meet the people behind the business and experience first-hand how we’re investing in products, technology and customer support. The feedback was incredibly positive and reinforced the value of creating opportunities for customers to connect with our team in a relaxed and practical environment’.
Although the main summer event has concluded, the company has confirmed that its full product showroom remains open for personalised trade visits and bespoke software demonstrations, which can be scheduled via its website.
