SEDO, short for South East Drawing Office, has supplied the sign and print trade since 2005. The name points back to a heritage in technical and CAD drawing, which still runs through the business today alongside the wide-format work. SEDO is a service-led reseller of professional digital print machinery, working mainly in large- and wide-format, and it operates from Basildon in Essex serving customers across London, the South East and beyond.
The line-up covers the whole print room. Printers span aqueous, solvent, resin and latex, and UV flatbed, from brands including Epson, Roland, Canon, HP and Agfa, sitting alongside scanners, cutters, laminators, RIP software from Caldera and Onyx, storage, inks and media. The business has also been building out its technical and CAD side, and was chosen to grow Agfa’s presence in the technical and CAD markets, which fits its origins rather neatly.

A team with more than seventy years of combined experience handles specification, installation, training and maintenance, and the company runs its own Disaster Recovery back-up print service for when a machine goes down and the work cannot wait. Led by directors Brian and Andy McGuinness, SEDO keeps a family business approach that has looked after hundreds of customers, and the aim is plainly to keep those print rooms profitable rather than simply selling a printer.
