PPB Ltd distributes and converts paper, board and plastic sheet materials for the point of sale, display, exhibition and sign trade, supplying screen printers, litho printers, sign makers and fabricators. Founded in 1979 as Proctor Paper and Board by John Proctor in Leeds, the company remains family-run. PPB is the UK’s only Re-board distributor, holds FESPA partner status and is certified to ISO 45001:2018 for occupational health and safety.
The company operates from two sites, in Leeds and Dartford, with over 85,000 sq ft of high bay warehouse space. Its own fleet moves around 100 tonnes of material a day, with 95% of orders delivered on PPB’s own transport and most orders reaching customers next-day. PPB processes over 4,500 order lines a month.
The range covers art papers and boards, corrugated board, foam board, Re-board, grey board, aluminium composite sheet, acrylics, polycarbonate, PVC, PETG, APET and digital media, plus packaging, tape, fixings and glue. In-house conversion services include high precision sawing, guillotine cutting, sheeting, slitting and rewinding, large format die-cutting, print mounting, plastic laser cutting and engraving, drilling, polishing and plastic fabrication such as line bending and v-grooving, using equipment including Schelling saws, a Crosland VK die-cutter, a CAUHE guillotine, a Lamina FA Blackline mounting machine and Trotec laser equipment.
