The Print Show 2026 achieves 12% rise in visitor numbers

The Print Show and The Sign Show 2026 recorded 5,567 attendees and over £1m in equipment sales at the NEC Birmingham.

On-stand machinery sales exceeded £1m as attendance reached 5,567 visitors at the 2026 co-located editions of The Print Show and The Sign Show, held from 29 September to 1 October in Hall 1 at the NEC Birmingham. Marking the tenth anniversary of The Print Show and the second instalment of The Sign Show, total delegate numbers represented a 4 per cent year-on-year increase. However, organisers highlighted that the 2025 show included around 350 visitors from the PPMA Show, driven by a partnership between the two events. That equates to a 12 per cent underlying gain once previous cross-over visitors were excluded.

Exhibitors reported substantial commercial activity across the three-day showcase. Finishing manufacturer Plockmatic Group secured £527,000 in direct equipment orders on its stand, driven by demand for the NovaBind 300 perfect binder and Uchida AeroDieCut system. Meanwhile, wide-format distributor CMYUK finalised the sale of an EFI VUTEk M3h 3.2m hybrid printer to Banner Box Print Solutions, while Vivid Laminating Technologies closed a deal for a 3.2m VeloBlade Nexus cutting table with Global Experience Specialists.

Event Director for both shows, Chris Davies, commented, “We are delighted with the response to both The Print Show and The Sign Show this year. More people were in the hall across the three days and that is a reflection on the quality of the events we put on. It was the best line-up of exhibitors we’ve ever had, with some of the biggest names in print in attendance.”

General Manager for UK Sales and Service at Plockmatic Group, Ed Hudson, added, “That is for orders genuinely taken on the stand during the show. To say that I am thrilled would be an understatement.”

Alongside hardware demonstrations from major brands including HP, Epson, Roland DG, Agfa, Hybrid Services (Mimaki), swissQprint, Konica Minolta, and Soyang Group, the hall hosted specialised educational features. Visitors attended sessions at the Knowledge Zone, Print Mastermind Live, the Traditional Sign-Making Masterclass, the British Sign & Graphics Association Route, and the Paint Protection Film Knowledge Hub.

Davies concluded, “This goes to show that The Print Show and The Sign Show are crucial platforms for manufacturers and suppliers to not only display technology but also conduct business.”
