Soyang Europe names Dave Murphy as Sales Manager for Ireland

Print industry veteran Dave Murphy is appointed Sales Manager for Ireland to lead its dedicated distribution hub in Dublin.

Wide-format and superwide-format media and print hardware distributor Soyang Europe has announced the appointment of Dave Murphy as Sales Manager for Ireland. Taking up the role with immediate effect, Murphy will be based at the company’s dedicated distribution hub in Dublin, where he will oversee account management for existing Irish customers alongside driving new business development across the country.

Murphy joins the business with more than 20 years of experience in the print sector, holding extensive technical knowledge across both the end-user and supplier sides of the market. His appointment is designed to strengthen technical support for the Irish wide-format print industry as Soyang continues to expand its commercial footprint in the region.

The recruitment follows the launch of Soyang Europe’s dedicated Dublin facility in February 2025. This localised headquarters was established to provide direct local stockholding, accelerated delivery timelines and enhanced customer support, serving as the distributor’s primary operational hub for the entirety of Ireland.

Oliver Mashiter, Sales Director of Soyang Europe, said, ‘Dave joins us at our Dublin HQ after a great first year of sales and a strong second year of growth in the first two quarters of this year. He has a wealth of industry knowledge both as an end user and a supplier spanning over 20 years. Dave has already fit right in with the rest of the team in Dublin’.

In his new capacity, Murphy will work directly with Irish print service providers to help them identify optimal material and machinery solutions, spanning digital print media, interior surface coverings and large-format production hardware, whilst managing upcoming product roll-outs scheduled for the latter half of 2026.
