Solent Endorses Envirotech

Solent Sewing and Welding Solutions, the UK’s main distributor for Miller Weldmaster machines, has endorsed Innotech’s Envirotech Banner materials for weldability. Solent Sewing is a family business founded in the 1960s. They started representing Miller Weldmaster in the UK in 2004 in order to support sewing customers who also had welding requirements.

Miller Weldmaster welding machines are used extensively by the wide format printing trade. As the main UK distributor, Solent Sewing and Welding has now endorsed three Innotech PVC-Free banner materials for use with these machines. These include Envirotech PVC-Free non-woven banner (125g/m2), Flex banner (160g/m2) and the Mesh banner without liner (210g/m2 FR EN13501).

Mark Bostock, Technical Service and Sales Manager at Solent Sewing and Welding, says: “We carried out extensive testing of the Innotech materials with our Miller Weldmaster Triad series. The trials using this hot wedge welding machine were very successful and we can confidently say that they could also be successfully welded on our T3 & T300 welders.”

Kieran Dallow, Marketing Manager for Innotech Digital, says, “We are delighted to see our Envirotech PVC-Free range be endorsed by a company with extensive experience and great respect in the industry. Welding is a critical part of banner production and it is vital that printed PVC free banners can be welded by market-leading machines as durably as traditional PVC banners. We look forward to building on this relationship over the coming years.”
