Signs & Imaging (South East) Ltd has expanded its wide format production capacity by investing in an Epson UK & I SureColor S9100 64in Eco Solvent Printer. The new installation, supplied by SEDO, joins an impressive fleet that already includes an Epson S80600, demonstrating the company’s confidence in Epson technology.

The company is adding the S9100 to an established setup that features a Summa D160 cutter, a Summa F1612 flatbed cutter, a Neschen Laminator, an Arizona Flatbed, and Onyx RIP software.
A natural progression
The decision to choose a second Epson machine was straightforward, based on the reliable performance of their existing technology. Dean Johnson, managing director of Signs & Imaging, explains, “We love our Epson S80600, and the new S9100 is the natural addition. The printer has seen us through an exciting period of growth, and we are now ready to take the next step with a very impressive looking new machine.”
He continues, “We are very confident that the new Epson S9100 will provide enhanced capability, allowing us to produce more vibrant colours for our clients. We’re looking forward to seeing exactly what this machine can do and how it will help us deliver an even better range of solutions and services for our customers.”
Dean also expects the new Epson to increase production speed and add to its core services, which include general print and signage, as well as vehicle branding.
The Epson S9100 is the latest in a long line of investments the company has made with Essex-based SEDO Large Format Solutions. He explains, “Our long-standing relationship with SEDO was a key factor in why we have taken on the new Epson. Time and again, SEDO has shown we can fully trust them to deliver excellent service. They always go above and beyond to make sure everything goes as smoothly as possible, and they’ve done it again here.”
Andy McGuinness, Director at SEDO Large Format Solutions, adds, “We are delighted that Signs & Imaging has once again trusted us to deliver their next strategic hardware investment. The fact that Dean and Debbie chose to expand their firepower with a second Epson machine is the strongest possible testament to the reliability of the platform and the quality of support we provide. Our goal is to be a long-term partner for our customers by recommending and supplying the best possible equipment and service for them.”
Andy concludes, “We are really excited to see how Signs and Imaging gets on with the new Epson. It’s an incredible machine with a huge range of colours and printing capabilities that I am sure Dean and the team will love.”
