Roland DG announce the launch of the VersaOBJECT LO-640/300 series of UV flatbed printers that can handle a wide range of substrates

Roland DG have launched the VersaOBJECT LO-640/300 series of UV flatbed printers. Supported by 750ml EUV5 inks in CMYKOrRe plus Gloss, White, and Primer options, the LO Series provides accurate reproduction of brand colours. Mark Elvidge, Product Manager EMEA, said, “This is truly an ideal device for customers who want high-quality print capabilities combined with impressive production volumes. The combination of two high-precision print heads and efficient LED-UV lamps allow for beautiful, high-definition printing, fine textures and gradations, even at high output speeds.”

“With the diversification and individualisation of consumer needs, there is a growing demand for timely and flexible responses tailored to each customer’s requirements,” Elvidge said. “The LO series is a powerful solution to support customers who are looking to grow their print to substrate business by enabling shorter delivery times, reduced costs, and higher profitability.”

The LO Series also come with the latest VersaWorks 7 RIP software as standard, which has enhanced processing capacity, a new modern interface and has native support for Windows and macOS. In addition, LO series printers are compatible with Roland DG Connect, a comprehensive cloud platform providing information such as operating status and profit calculations to help users streamline their workflow, and PrintAutoMate, which supports high-mix, low-volume printing to realise more efficient and accurate personalisation services.
