Roland DG announce the launch of the VersaOBJECT LO-640/300 series of UV flatbed printers that can handle a wide range of substrates

Roland DG have launched the VersaOBJECT LO-640/300 series of UV flatbed printers. The LO series is able to print detailed graphics on media up to 242 mm in height and 100 kg/m2 in weight, allowing substrates and objects such as plastic, leather, and wood, are easily customised with a high degree of accuracy.

Supported by 750ml EUV5 inks in CMYKOrRe plus Gloss, White, and Primer options, the LO Series provides accurate reproduction of brand colours. The addition of Gloss ink provides the option of matte or gloss textures along with embossing. For challenging surfaces, printable primer offers increased print adhesion, making it ideal for personalising a large variety of consumer or industrial products.

In addition, LO series printers are compatible with Roland DG Connect, a comprehensive cloud platform providing information such as operating status and profit calculations to help users streamline their workflow, and PrintAutoMate, which supports high-mix, low-volume printing to realise more efficient and accurate personalisation services.
