The Vistaflex ML400 is a PVC-coated polyester mesh banner material supplied with an integrated backing liner, giving a combined specification of 400 g/m² (270 g/m² mesh plus 130 g/m² liner). The liner provides structural support and stability, helping the material hold its shape during handling, laminating and printing. The mesh has a 60:40 mesh-to-hole ratio, equating to approximately 40% open area, which allows wind and air to pass through the printed banner and reduces wind loading on the structure it is fixed to. Thickness is around 425 microns, with tensile strength of 1200 N/50mm (warp) and 1500 N/50mm (weft), tear resistance of 300 N/50mm and 280 N/50mm, and welding adhesion of 80 N/50mm. It carries a B1 fire rating to EN13501 and has a service temperature range of -20°C to +70°C. The material is compatible with solvent, eco-solvent, latex and UV-curable ink systems, and rolls are supplied print-side-in. It is available in widths from 1370mm to 3200mm and roll lengths up to 65m across several product codes. Typical applications include fence and scaffolding banners, along with other outdoor mesh wrap and signage uses where a lightweight, wind-permeable, printable substrate is required.
