The Vertex F110 Tempest Flag 3B is a lightweight, 100% polyester knitted material developed for printed flags and other soft signage applications. Weighing 110g/m2 and approximately 300 microns thick, it has a semi-matte, white base finish, and its knitted construction gives it flexibility suited to outdoor use on feather flags, teardrop flags, and other advertising flag formats exposed to wind. The fabric carries an FR B1 fire rating, certified to EN13501, for use where flame-retardant materials are specified. It is compatible with both direct and transfer dye-sublimation printing, allowing full-colour graphics with good dye penetration for two-sided flag visibility. Dimensional stability is high, with length shrinkage below 1.30% and width shrinkage below 1.00%, while elongation at break is 59% (length) and 76% (width), and tear resistance is rated at 21N in both directions. The material is PVC-free, giving it a lower environmental impact than PVC-coated banner media. It is supplied in roll widths of 1600mm, 1860mm and 3200mm, in 25m and 100m lengths, for use on wide-format and superwide dye-sublimation printers. Overall, the fabric is intended for signmakers and print service providers producing lightweight, wind-durable outdoor flags and soft signage graphics.
