The swissQprint Karibu S is a high-speed roll-to-roll UV-LED printer designed for high-volume and continuous 24/7 operation. It is built on a robust foundation and features a 3.4m maximum print width, which can also accommodate dual 1.6m rolls to double productivity for narrower jobs. The printer is engineered for exceptional throughput, with a maximum speed of 330 m²/h, while still maintaining high image quality with a maximum resolution of 1080 dpi. The Karibu S is highly configurable, offering up to nine colour channels that can be customised with a variety of specialty inks. These options include light cyan, light magenta, light black, white, varnish, primer, orange, and neon yellow and pink, allowing for a wide range of creative and functional applications. The printer uses UV-curable, solvent-free inks that are GREENGUARD Gold certified for environmental safety. A standout feature is the unique Tip Switch Vacuum system, which has 136 individually controllable segments for effortless and precise media hold-down without the need for masking. The machine also includes a cassette system for fast roll changes and a built-in lightbox for immediate quality control of backlit prints. An optional double-sided printing function with a camera system and QR codes automates the process for perfect alignment.
