The Roland TrueVIS VG4 Series represents the fourth generation of integrated large-format eco-solvent printer/cutters engineered for high-precision sign and graphic production. Available in 54-inch and 64-inch working widths, these integrated devices execute digital printing and automated contour cutting in a continuous workflow, reducing operator intervention and job turnaround times.
The VG4 platform incorporates FlexFire printhead arrays that deposit variable micro-droplets for precise dot placement. Utilizing TR3 eco-solvent inks, the machine supports expanded colour configurations including Green, Orange, Red, Light Black, and White. This expanded gamut enables exact Pantone corporate colour matching, smooth skin tones, and dense white undercoats for transparent window graphics.
Hardware refinements include automated media calibration, multi-point pinch rollers with variable pressure settings, and an integrated motor-driven take-up unit for long unattended production runs. System operation is controlled via an onboard touchscreen interface and VersaWorks 7 RIP software, offering advanced colour management, cut-line generation, and variable data processing tools.
The VG4 Series incorporates automated printhead cleaning routines and nozzle masking capabilities.
