The Mutoh XpertJet 661UF is a UV-LED flatbed printer designed for direct-to-object printing with rigid and flexible substrates. It delivers a maximum print area of 483 mm × 594 mm and can accommodate media up to 150 mm thick. The printer uses drop-on-demand piezo inkjet technology and supports either a 4-colour CMYK ink setup, or a 6-colour configuration including White and Varnish inks. Two types of UV ink are available: rigid (UH21) and flexible (US11). An LED UV lamp with 6 individually controlled segments provides curing, allowing simultaneous use of different varnish effects such as gloss, semi-gloss and matte in a single table movement.
Height adjustment of the print table is automatic, and there is a vacuum table option to secure media. Print speeds are available in multiple quality/resolution modes (for example 720, 1080, 1440 dpi), allowing trade-off between speed and detail. Interface is via Ethernet. The printer includes VerteLith™ genuine RIP software bundled with Flexi DESIGN MUTOH Edition. Physical dimensions are approximately 1,188 mm (W) × 1,627 mm (D) × 604 mm (H) with a weight around 130 kg. Power consumption is about 300 W during operation, with significantly lower use in ready or standby modes. The XpertJet 661UF is used in contexts such as personalised promotional items, small series production, decorative panels, awards, and other direct-to-object applications.
