The Mimaki UJF-7151 is a high-performance UV-LED flatbed printer engineered for industrial direct-to-object printing. It builds on the success of its predecessor with two additional printheads, bringing the total to eight in a staggered configuration. This new printhead arrangement allows for dual four-colour CMYK ink configurations, which can increase print speeds by up to 190% compared to the previous model. The printer is designed for high-definition output with a maximum resolution of 1800 dpi and incorporates Mimaki’s MFD2 half-toning technology for precise ink droplet placement, resulting in sharper edges and finer lines.
The Mimaki UJF-7151 has a large printable area of 710mm x 510mm and can accommodate objects up to 153mm thick. Its robust industrial construction, including a table that can handle up to 30kg, ensures high-precision printing on heavy media such as glass, wood, and metal. The printer is compatible with a variety of UV-curable inks, including rigid (LH-100), flexible (LUS-120), and thermoforming (LUS-350) inks. It also offers a full range of specialty inks, such as white, clear, primer, and metallic silver, providing extensive creative and functional possibilities. The machine is supported by Mimaki’s core technologies, including the Mimaki Circulation Technology (MCT) for white ink, and the Nozzle Check Unit (NCU) and Nozzle Recovery System (NRS) for continuous and reliable operation. The UJF-7151 is also “IoT Ready,” with support for Mimaki Device Language commands to enable integration into automated production workflows.
