The Mimaki TS55-1800 is a high-production sublimation transfer inkjet printer engineered for the textile and apparel industries. It features a maximum print width of 1940mm, making it suitable for a wide range of applications from soft signage to fashion and interior fabrics. The printer is designed for high-speed operation, reaching a maximum output of 135 m²/h, which is approximately double the speed of conventional Mimaki models. This high productivity is complemented by excellent operational stability and low running costs.
The Mimaki TS55-1800 is equipped with newly developed printheads and incorporates several core technologies to ensure stable, high-quality printing. These include the Nozzle Check Unit (NCU) and Nozzle Recovery System (NRS) for continuous operation and automatic dot adjustment, which reduces operator workload. The printer uses dye-sublimation ink (Sb610) and is compatible with an optional mini jumbo roll unit for long print runs without the need for frequent media changes. It also supports specialty inks such as light black and fluorescent colours, expanding the creative possibilities for sportswear, signage, and other items. The printer is an ENERGY STAR certified product, reflecting its focus on energy efficiency. It is supplied with a choice of TxLink4 Lite or RasterLink6Plus RIP software.
