The Mimaki TS200-1600 is a large-format dye-sublimation transfer printer designed for textile and apparel applications among others. It features an on-demand piezo printhead and operates with Mimaki’s Sb411 sublimation ink set. The printer supports both 4-colour (Blue, Magenta, Yellow, Black) and an optional 8-colour configuration (adding Violet, Orange, Fluorescent Pink, Fluorescent Yellow) to increase gamut and vibrancy. It handles media up to 1,610 mm in print width and up to 1 mm in thickness, making it suitable for roll-to-roll transfer paper uses. The maximum media width is 1,620 mm. Prints are produced at resolutions of up to 900 dpi in the Y direction (with discrete modes of 300, 600, 900 dpi) and 600 dpi in the X direction.
Roll weight is 25 kg standard; with an optional foot levelling kit the machine can accept rolls up to 45 kg. The take-up device supports outside or inside winding, and roll diameter must be φ180 mm or less. Interfaces include Ethernet 1000BASE-T (recommended) and USB2.0 Hi-speed. Operational environment requirements are 20-30 °C with 35-65 % relative humidity. Power supply is single-phase AC100-120/200-240 V ±10%, 50/60 Hz, with maximum power consumption at or under 250 W. The machine includes features such as automatic dot adjustment (DAS), nozzle check and recovery systems, and ink-saving functions. Dimensions are approximately 2,770 × 748 × 1,623 mm, and it weighs ~155 kg uncrated. It is suitable for several print applications including soft signage, sports apparel, interior fabrics, fashion textiles, promotional goods and home décor.
