The Mimaki 3DUJ-2207 is a compact, full-colour 3D printer designed for high-definition modelling and prototyping. Using a UV-LED curable inkjet method, the printer can produce objects with over 10 million colour combinations. Its print volume of 203mm x 203mm x 76mm is suitable for creating detailed prototypes, figurines, and educational models. The printer’s compact design allows it to fit through standard office doors, making it an ideal entry-level model for industrial 3D printing in a variety of environments. With its low noise level and an optional deodoriser, it is designed to be office-friendly.
The 3DUJ-2207 is equipped with two on-demand piezo printheads and achieves a high print resolution of 1200 dpi. It uses MH-100 acrylic resin inks (CMYK, White, Clear) and water-soluble SW-110 support material. The use of clear ink allows for the creation of transparent or translucent objects, or for adding varying levels of transparency to coloured prints. The resulting objects have a strength comparable to ABS, allowing for post-processing such as drilling and coating. A water-soluble support material simplifies the post-processing workflow, as it can be easily removed by soaking in water, which is particularly useful for intricate designs. The printer is supplied with Mimaki’s 3D Link layout software and a printer driver.
