The R420 Light-Stop Roll-Up Media is a polyester-based print film weighing 420g/m² and approximately 250 microns thick, developed for use in roller banner display systems. It incorporates a grey backing layer that provides total opacity, blocking light transmission through the material so that printed graphics do not suffer from show-through or ghosting caused by light or imagery behind the banner. The polyester base gives the material inherent lay-flat properties, allowing it to sit and roll flat without lamination once removed from a roller banner cassette, reducing curl, wastage, and production time. The surface of the R420 Light-Stop Roll-Up Media has an anti-scratch coating to protect printed graphics during handling, transport, and repeated roll-up/roll-down use. It is compatible with eco-solvent, solvent, and UV-curable ink systems, and is supplied in roll widths ranging from 914mm up to 3.2m to suit a variety of roller banner cassette sizes. The material is also suitable for hanging or suspended applications when finished with hemmed, reinforced edges, though sewing is not recommended as it may compromise the media. With a stated service temperature range of -20°C to +70°C, it is intended for retail, exhibition, and pop-up display graphics where a durable, opaque, flat-lying roll-up banner substrate is required.
