Invercote is a range of multi-layered solid bleached boards (SBB/GZ) manufactured using fresh cellulose fibres for high-end commercial graphics and packaging. The product family includes several distinct variants tailored for specific finishing and converting operations: Invercote G, Invercote Creato, Invercote Touch, and Invercote Duo. Each variant is engineered with outer layers dominated by hardwood fibres for surface smoothness and a core of softwood fibres for tensile strength, flexibility, and resistance to tear.
Invercote G features a triple-coated front side with a single coating on the reverse, offering high whiteness, light-fastness, and dimensional stability. Invercote Creato provides equal double-sided coating designed for balanced, high-contrast two-sided printing and display applications. Invercote Touch delivers an uncoated, natural surface finish that retains the tactile feel of pure wood fibres while maintaining structural rigidity. Invercote Duo consists of laminated sheets of Invercote G, providing heavy-duty boards in weights ranging up to 700gsm and beyond for heavy packaging requirements.
The paperboard is suitable for offset lithography, flexography, screen printing, and ready-to-use digital press formats. Its structural properties allow the board to be creased, folded, embossed, and die-cut repeatedly without cracking along the fold lines. Manufactured from sustainably managed forests, the range carries FSC accreditation, food contact compliance, and ISO 14001 certification. Typical applications include luxury packaging for cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, food, and confectionery, as well as greeting cards, book covers, swing tags, display graphics, and retail promotional materials.
