The Growth Guarantee Scheme from Compass Business Finance delivers government-backed financial facilities for small and medium-sized print, packaging, and sign-making businesses across the UK. Administered by the British Business Bank, this initiative replaces the Recovery Loan Scheme, providing a 70% government guarantee to accredited lenders to support credit approval for viable print enterprise investments.
Through this scheme, Compass Business Finance structures term loans from £25,001 to £2,000,000, as well as asset finance, asset-based lending, and invoice finance starting from £1,000. Term loan and asset finance facilities offer repayment terms from three months to six years, while revolving facilities extend up to three years. These options enable print managers to acquire pressroom machinery, digital finishing systems, workflow software, or fund strategic expansion.
The government guarantee reduces lender risk, enabling Compass to approve funding for viable print businesses that lack traditional secondary collateral or fall outside standard commercial lending criteria. Eligible UK print service providers with turnover up to £45 million gain access to competitive rates, extended terms, and manageable deposit requirements.
