The E-201OP is a 90 micron calendered polymeric self-adhesive vinyl with a matt white printable face and a grey, solvent acrylic permanent adhesive. The grey adhesive layer gives the film good opacity, allowing it to block out existing graphics or surface colours beneath it, which makes it well suited to hoardings and overlay applications. It is supplied on a white clay-coated kraft liner (130-135gsm) designed to resist water and moisture ingress and reduce tunnelling. Being a polymeric film, it offers greater dimensional stability and a longer working life than monomeric vinyls, with an outdoor durability rating of up to 5 years unprinted. Tensile strength exceeds 24N/mm² with elongation at break above 160%, and adhesion strength is rated at 14N/25mm. The film has a service temperature range of -20°C to +70°C and a minimum application temperature above 10°C, and is compatible with eco-solvent, solvent, latex and UV-curable printing. It suits both flat and curved surfaces for indoor and outdoor use, making it appropriate for longer-term signage and vehicle graphics where an opaque, durable, permanently bonded film is required. Shelf life is 2 years when stored at 23°C/50% humidity. It is available in rolls of 1370mm x 50m and 1600mm x 50m.
