The Epson SureColor V7000 is a UV-curable flatbed large-format printer designed for high-precision printing on rigid substrates up to 80 mm thick. It uses a 10-colour UltraChrome UV ink set, including CMYK, light cyan, light magenta, grey, red, white and varnish, supplied in one-litre bottles. Curing is carried out with an LED-UV system supported by an integrated water-cooled chiller.
The printer is equipped with eight MicroPiezo printheads, each featuring 180 nozzles, arranged in an eight-line configuration. It achieves a maximum resolution of 720 × 1,440 dpi and employs variable droplet technology to enhance fine detail and reduce visible grain, even when white ink is in use.
The flatbed accommodates media up to 2,500 × 1,250 mm, secured by a four-zone vacuum system which eliminates the need for taping. Automatic media thickness detection, crash sensors and an integrated ioniser are built in to improve stability and output consistency.
Workflow is managed through Epson Edge Print RIP software with a PostScript 3 engine. Remote monitoring and management can be carried out via Epson Cloud Solution PORT. The printer has physical dimensions of approximately 4,635 × 2,768 × 1,730 mm and a weight of about 1,370 kg. Suitable for signage, display graphics and décor, the SureColor V7000 provides production-level flatbed printing with an extended colour set and options for white and varnish applications.
