The Epson SureColor R5000L is a 64-inch resin-ink large format printer designed for a wide variety of print applications. It supports substrates such as vinyl, banners, textiles, canvas, wallpaper and film, making it suitable for signage and décor production.
This model uses Epson’s UltraChrome RS resin-based, water-based ink system. It incorporates two PrecisionCore Micro TFP printheads, which are user-replaceable without specialist tools, enabling uptime to be maintained with minimal disruption.
The printer achieves consistent print quality through halftoning, lookup tables and Micro Weave technology, which help reduce graininess and banding. A three-zone heating and curing system, consisting of pre-heat, platen and post-cure units, stabilises media handling and supports fast turnaround, including same-day lamination and delivery.
The bulk ink delivery system holds two 1.5-litre pouches per colour, providing a total ink capacity of 24 litres. A hot-swap function ensures continuous operation when ink pouches are changed. Media handling features include roll-to-roll capability, an automatic take-up reel and a maximum media width of 1,626 mm. The system accommodates media up to 1 mm in thickness.
The SureColor R5000L includes a 4.3-inch touchscreen, Ethernet and USB connectivity, and comes with Epson Edge Print RIP software. Standard warranty is 12 months on-site service.
