The Epson Monna Lisa ML-32000-180 is a large-format direct-to-fabric textile printer designed for industrial textile production. It uses Epson’s PrecisionCore Micro TFP printheads with 32 heads, delivering high dot placement accuracy and fine detail reproduction. With a maximum print width of 1,800 mm and fabric thickness support up to 10 mm, it can handle a wide variety of fabric types and sizes. The printer supports multiple ink formulations including reactive, acid, disperse and pigment inks under the GENESTA ink family, which are certified under standards such as ECO PASSPORT and GOTS.
Print speeds vary by mode: at 300 × 600 dpi in 1-pass mode it can reach up to 697 m²/h; typical speeds at higher resolutions (600 × 600 dpi, 2-pass; 900 × 600 dpi, 3-pass) are lower. The ML-32000-180 employs technologies to preserve print quality across high speeds: Symmetrical Colour Alignment, Dynamic Alignment Stabiliser (DAS), Accurate Belt Position Control (ABPC), and continuous cleaning, automatic nozzle alignment, calibration and lint removal. It includes a flexible 8+8 colour channel configuration so that two different types of ink sets may be loaded simultaneously, increasing adaptability to fabric types.
Ink is delivered via hot-swappable 10-litre cartridges (vacuum-packed, degassed), allowing uninterrupted production. The system includes fabric handling via a conveyor belt with adhesive and automatic belt washing. Environmental operating conditions are 20-30 °C with 40-60 % relative humidity. Power requirements are industrial three-phase supply, with significant power draw. The ML-32000-180 is suitable for high-volume textile printing applications where throughput, colour consistency and versatility are required.
