Contravision Perforated Window Vinyl is a specialized self-adhesive graphic film engineered to provide one-way vision on glass surfaces. The film features small, evenly spaced perforations across its surface, typically maintaining a 60/40 or 70/30 ratio between printable vinyl and open area. From the exterior, full-colour printed graphics remain visible, while occupants inside maintain natural light passage and outward visibility through the glass.
The film incorporates a black adhesive backing on the non-printed reverse side, which absorbs light reflection to enhance optical transparency from within the building or vehicle interior. Printable using eco-solvent, latex, and UV inks, Contravision delivers sharp visual graphics and strong contrast on the exterior surface. The substrate features a removable solvent adhesive that allows clean removal without leaving adhesive residue on glass surfaces.
Applications comprise retail shopfront window graphics, commercial office partitioning, bus and train window branding, and architectural glass features. The graphic reduces solar heat gain and interior glare while serving as a promotional medium.
For external installations exposed to rainfall and dirt, applying an optically clear laminate is recommended. This clear overlaminate seals the microscopic perforations, preventing dirt accumulation and moisture collection inside the holes, thereby maintaining external visual quality and internal glass clarity over extended periods.
