Cocoon Offset is a range of 100% post-consumer recycled uncoated papers and boards designed for commercial printing, publishing, and corporate communications. Manufactured using a process chlorine-free de-inking process, the paper achieves a high CIE whiteness level of 150 without optical brightening agents. The smooth, uniform surface formation ensures consistent colour reproduction, high opacity, and image contrast across two-sided print runs.
The product collection is stocked in various sheet formats, including B1+, SRA1, and SRA2, across grammages ranging from 100gsm up to 350gsm. Due to its structural stability, the substrate is compatible with sheet-fed offset litho, heat-set web offset, cold-set web offset, and screen printing processes. Selected weights are also suitable for dry-toner digital printing presses and laser pre-print applications, enabling short-run customisation and variable data print jobs.
Cocoon Offset holds FSC Recycled certification, EU Ecolabel accreditation, PAS 2020 certification, and Cradle to Cradle Silver status. The paper meets the DIN 6738 and ISO 9706 international standards for maximum age resistance, making it suitable for long-term archival applications. Post-print finishing techniques supported by the material include foil blocking, blind embossing, varnishing, scoring, die-cutting, and various thread or adhesive binding methods.
