The Agfa Anapurna H3200i LED is a hybrid wide-format printer combining roll-to-roll and rigid media capabilities, using UV LED-curable ink technology. It supports printing widths up to 3.20 metres (approximately 10.5 feet), with a slightly smaller width (3.16 metres) available when using borderless printing. The device is suited to indoor and outdoor applications and is configured for CMYK plus two light colours (light cyan, light magenta) together with white ink. The white ink option enables pre-white, sandwich white or post-white printing, useful for backlit media or transparent substrates. The H3200i is equipped with air-cooled UV LED lamps, which reduce energy consumption compared to traditional UV lamps, and allow printing on heat-sensitive materials.
Rigid media up to 45 mm thick can be handled on the flatbed, with a maximum weight per square metre of 10 kg. Roll media with a minimum thickness of 0.2 mm is also supported, with maximum roll width matching that of rigid media. The system uses multiple Konica-Minolta print heads (six for colour/light colours, two for white) offering droplet volumes around 12 picolitres for colour and larger for white. Maximum print resolution in high quality mode reaches up to 720 × 1,400 dpi. Various production modes yield different speeds; in production settings the speed is lower, with higher speeds available in draft or express modes. The printer operates under controlled vacuum on the transport belt for rigid media, includes automatic media positioning and safety sensors for the shuttle. Workflow is managed using Agfa’s Asanti software, integrating pre-press to finishing stages.
