The Agfa Anapurna H2500 is a hybrid UV LED-curable wide-format printer designed to handle both rigid and flexible substrates in indoor and outdoor applications. It is part of Agfa’s Anapurna / Ciervo H series, offering print widths of around 2.5 metres. The system supports a six-colour plus white ink set and uses UV LED curing lamps. It is engineered to combine versatility with continuous operation, allowing users to print on boards and rolls, with optional media feed guides and automatic board handling on certain versions.
The printer delivers multiple quality modes—ranging from draft through standard-production to high definition—allowing users to choose output speed or image quality as required. It maintains detailed handling of media thickness, with rigid materials up to about 45 mm and flexible media as thin as ~0.2 mm. The ink delivery includes separate circuits for white ink, with stirring and circulation to maintain consistency. The machine includes advanced media transport and registration tools (e.g. stretchable tables, media set bars, vacuum zones) and safety features such as shuttle sensors and ionisation bars for static control.
It is compatible with Agfa’s Asanti workflow software, enabling job preparation, colour profiling and media management. Print resolution peaks at around 720 × 1440 dpi in high-quality mode. Speeds vary by mode; production mode speeds are significantly lower than draft but provide a balance of throughput and quality. Applications include banners, posters, display graphics, signage, exhibition graphics, backlit displays, and other large format print jobs needing durable indoor/outdoor performance.
