The Agfa Anapurna H2050i LED is a hybrid UV LED-curable wide-format printer designed for both rigid and flexible media. It features a maximum print width of 2.05 metres (approximately 6.7 feet) and is capable of accepting media thicknesses from 1 mm up to 45 mm for rigid substrates, while flexible media can be as thin as 0.2 mm. The system is built to handle both indoor and outdoor applications, using air-cooled UV LED lamps to enable fast curing and reduced energy consumption.
The printer uses a 4, 6-colour + white ink configuration, with Konica-Minolta KM1024i printheads: six heads for standard colours and two specifically for white, including in-line white runs. It achieves a maximum resolution up to 720 × 1,400 dpi. Production speeds vary according to quality mode: draft, standard, high-quality and high-definition modes deliver different square metres per hour, with high-output draft reaching up to around 104 m²/h, and high-definition significantly lower.
Key features include support for borderless printing on flexible and rigid media, a reinforced beam for accurate dot placement, shuttle safety sensors to avoid printhead strikes, automatic board feeder options for small rigid board volumes, and media registration bars plus ionisation bars to reduce electrostatic issues. The ink delivery system includes separate circuits for white ink, with stirring mechanisms and under-pressure regulation, to maintain consistency. Intended uses encompass general signage, exhibition and event graphics, banners and posters, backlit displays, decorative panels, window graphics and more.
