Agfa Anapurna H1650i

Hybrid UV LED printer: roll and rigid, CMYK + white options.

The Agfa Anapurna H1650i LED is a hybrid large-format UV LED-curable inkjet printer designed for both roll-to-roll and rigid media applications. It supports a maximum print width of 165 cm (5.4 ft), with borderless printing available up to 160 cm, and rigid boards up to 3.2 m in length when used with optional extension tables. The printer is equipped with Konica-Minolta KM1024i printheads: four or six 12 picolitre heads for colour, plus two 30 picolitre heads dedicated to white ink. Configurations include either CMYK with white or CMYKLcLm.

The curing system uses air-cooled UV LED lamps rated at 16 W/cm², enabling instant on/off functionality, reduced power consumption and compatibility with heat-sensitive substrates. Maximum print resolution is up to 720 × 1400 dpi, with fine text reproducible down to 4 pt.

Production speeds vary according to print mode. In draft mode, throughput reaches up to 63 m²/h. Express mode achieves between 44 and 54 m²/h, while production mode delivers up to 28 m²/h. Standard quality mode offers 13–17 m²/h, and high-quality mode reaches up to 7 m²/h.

The printer is controlled via Agfa’s Asanti workflow software and supports options such as an automatic board feeder and multi-board printing. Media handling features include inflatable airshafts for roll substrates and vacuum zones for rigid sheets. The white ink system integrates circulation, stirring and under-pressure regulation for consistent print performance.
