LT Print Group Operations Director marks 40-year anniversary

LT Print Group celebrates a major long-service milestone as Operations Director Keith Goodridge marks 40 years with the litho and digital printing company.

LT Print Group, the Wirral-based litho and digital printing company, is celebrating a major long-service milestone this month as Operations Director Keith Goodridge marks 40 years with the organisation. This achievement highlights both his personal dedication and LT Print Group’s established reputation for long-term loyalty.

Mr Goodridge began his print programme in Liverpool in 1970, working as an apprentice printer for the West Africa Shipping Company, supplying manifests and documentation for the port during its peak trading years.

After the business became part of Unilever, he remained within the operation as it supported commercial print requirements across the UK and Europe. A later restructuring led him to seek a new opportunity, and he applied for a Production Manager role at InstaPrint, a small Hamilton Street print business that employed six people.

Bringing his experience, discipline, and understanding of large-scale production, Mr Goodridge played a key role in helping InstaPrint transition into an expanding commercial print provider. He helped integrate clients and staff from the former Unilever print division and supported the acquisition of three additional print companies, which formed the foundation of what would later become LT Print Group.

Over four decades, he has overseen the introduction of CMYK technology, expansion into digital print, development of the finishing department, and major operational improvements that allowed LT Print to compete with larger companies while maintaining its commitment to quality.

Reflecting on his career, Mr Goodridge says, “A lot has changed in print over 40 years, but the principles of quality, trust, and teamwork remain the same. Looking back over my career, it’s the people and the progress that stand out.” He adds, “When I joined the business printing was slower and more manual, but we had the same attention to detail we have today. Technology has transformed what’s possible, but quality still depends on the care you put in. I’ve been lucky to work with a team that takes that responsibility seriously, and that’s what keeps LT moving forward.”

Andrew Whyte, Managing Director at LT Print Group, says, “Keith’s dedication to both our team and our clients is a huge part of what makes LT Print what it is today. Forty years of continuous service is a remarkable achievement and reflects the values we’re proud to uphold, consistency, commitment, and care in everything we do.”

Today, LT Print continues to grow under Mr Goodridge’s operational leadership, investing in technology, sustainability, and service. His influence continues to be felt not only in the company’s day-to-day operations but also in the mentorship and development of new talent across the team.
