The Top Employers Institute operates a globally recognised accreditation programme. It assesses organisations based on their workplace environment, focusing specifically on HR practices and processes. The evaluation covers robust criteria including learning and development offerings, overall employee experience, rewards and benefits, and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion initiatives. Only organisations that meet these strict standards receive the accreditation.

Gemma Lee, Chief People Officer at Konica Minolta, comments: “We’re extremely proud of receiving our 2026 accreditation. We take great pride in bringing new initiatives and opportunities to our people and are incredibly proud of how they are embraced. Being certified by the Top Employers Institute represents a big achievement and doing so nine years in a row is testament to all employees at Konica Minolta.”

The company employs approximately 600 people across its UK operations. To support this workforce, management provides various career development opportunities. These include apprenticeships and training programmes designed to nurture talent. The firm creates specific pathways that allow employees to develop skills within their current roles or transition to other departments within the business.

Konica Minolta also operates five Employee Network Groups to drive education and cultural change throughout the organisation. These groups include ‘Balance’, which focuses on gender equality; ‘Vibrant’, for the LGBTQ+ community; and ‘Prism’, which provides support regarding neurodiversity. Additionally, ‘Unity in Diversity’ celebrates race and culture, while the ‘Impact’ group focuses on social causes.

Further supporting staff wellbeing and community engagement, the company grants every employee a dedicated workday each year for volunteering. This allows staff to support causes such as environmental conservation, youth mentoring, and charity fundraising.

Headquartered in Basildon, Essex, Konica Minolta operates as a Smart Data and Digital IT Services company. It supports 10,000 UK customers in transforming digital business operations and workplaces.
