Konica Minolta employees walk 30 miles for charity

Employees across the UK aim to walk 30 miles in November to raise funds for life-saving cancer research.

Konica Minolta Business Solutions (UK) Ltd has announced its continued support for Cancer Research UK through a company-wide initiative. The ‘Walk 30 Miles in November’ challenge encourages employees to walk one mile a day throughout the month.

From 1st to 30th November 2025, Konica Minolta team members across the UK will commit to walking 30 miles to raise funds for cancer research. The challenge is open to all employees, whether walking solo, with colleagues, or as part of a team, and can be completed in various locations, including local parks or while travelling.

Gillian Nuttall, ESG Partner at Konica Minolta Business Solutions (UK) Ltd, commented on the initiative. “We’re incredibly proud to support Cancer Research UK in their mission to beat cancer. This initiative reflects our commitment to wellbeing and gives our employees a meaningful way to make a difference – literally one step at a time!”

Employees are encouraged to share their progress via social media and fundraising platforms. Participants also benefit from training resources, including guides, calendars, and Strava integration to track their journey.

According to Cancer Research UK, nearly one in two people will face a cancer diagnosis in their lifetime. Funds raised contribute to research and support services. For example, £70 could fund a clinical research grant for one day, while £170 could fund a trial testing new radiotherapy techniques.

Konica Minolta has invited its wider network, including partners and customers, to join the movement. Gillian Nuttall added, “Initiatives like this also build on our commitment to improving health and wellbeing, not only for our team but also the other businesses and people we work with, along with the communities we live in.”

Since launching its partnership with Cancer Research UK in May this year, the Konica Minolta Business Solutions (UK) Ltd team has raised £2,885 of its annual target of £10,000.
