James Cropper and Winter & Company have supplied UK-made Coloursource papers for a 15-year commemorative book by fashion designer Edeline Lee.
James Cropper and Winter & Company have partnered with London-based designer Edeline Lee, supplying a curated range of UK-made Coloursource papers for a 15-year anniversary publication. The designer will release the book following London Fashion Week in February 2026.

Instead of a traditional runway show, Lee has chosen the book as the defining creative output for the season. The official launch will take place at The Peninsula London, where editors, buyers, and cultural figures will receive a copy directly.
The publication utilises a selection of Coloursource papers supplied exclusively by Winter & Company. The specified stocks include Coloursource Harvest 135gsm, Ice White 270gsm and 135gsm, Bright White 135gsm, and Pristine White 135gsm. According to the papermaker, the team selected each weight and tone to create subtle shifts in texture and opacity throughout the book.
The physical book features archival imagery, newly commissioned photography, and brand storytelling. FE Burman handled the printing process, while Diamond Print Services completed the binding, ensuring the entire production took place in England. Recipients will also receive a printed insert detailing the new collection shortly after the launch to complete their volume.
Lee explains the creative vision behind the materials used in the project. She says, “I strongly felt that the book needed to feel hand-made by individuals, just as our clothes, our productions and our projects feel. We selected papers with a beautiful weight, quality, texture, and hand feel. I hope that the materials reflect the body of work in our story.”
The designer continues, “The paper, the ink, the stitching of the binding, all of these shape how the work is felt emotionally. Material choices are part of the narrative, not just a container for it. The physicality of an object creates a connection between something real and tangible and the idea behind it. We chose papers with weight, texture and depth because I wanted every page turn to feel intentional, almost ceremonial.”
Lee adds, “We could not have made this book without the support and generosity of British heritage paper-makers James Cropper, Winter & Company, Bermondsey printer FE Burman, and Enfield bookbinders Diamond Print Services.”
Jordan Scott, Head of Marketing at James Cropper, comments on the partnership. He says, “This project exemplifies a shared commitment to British craft, collaboration, and careful material selection. The collaboration reinforces the mill’s position at the intersection of heritage and contemporary culture, demonstrating how paper can be more than a medium; it acts as an active participant in storytelling and a celebration of design that is meant to endure.”
This project builds upon a previous partnership from the Autumn/Winter 2016 London Fashion Week. During that event, Lee worked with James Cropper to build a tactile set at The Vinyl Factory.
