Easy Cut Studio 6.016 adds support for the Vevor Smart1 desktop cutter and legacy Roland CM series machines.
EasyCut, a company specialising in sign-making software solutions, has announced the official release of Easy Cut Studio 6.016. This updated version of its sign design and vinyl cutting software introduces support for several new vinyl cutters, including the Vevor Smart1, Vevor TT450, E-Cut TT-450, YOW! CraftY, and Roland CM series cutters.
The update focuses on enhancing the user experience and improving machine performance. With the newly added hardware support, beginners can begin production quickly, while experienced designers are provided with tools to create more complex layouts with greater efficiency and in less time.
Eric Johnson, director of global marketing and sales at EasyCut, said, “We are very proud that our software is compatible with more models of cutting plotters, helping our customers achieve outstanding results. EasyCut has always been dedicated to simplifying complex workflows and making professional printing and cutting accessible to everyone. We are confident that printing and cutting with Easy Cut Studio Version 6.016 is more efficient than ever before, with the guarantee of delivering better results no matter the application.”

The Vevor Smart1 is a versatile desktop vinyl cutter designed for creative and DIY projects, supporting over 100 materials including vinyl, cardstock, and heat transfer vinyl. With this update, Smart1 users can fully control their machines via Easy Cut Studio for both printing and cutting projects. Similarly, support has been added for the E-Cut TT-450 and Vevor TT-450, which are compact, entry-level plotters capable of automatic contour cutting for precise print-and-cut applications.
Easy Cut Studio 6.016 also extends its support to legacy hardware, adding the Roland CM series, including the CM-12, CM-24, and older models such as the CM-300, CM-400, and CM-500. The company aims to ensure that older vinyl cutters remain functional even after manufacturers cease official support for the devices.
The updated software is designed to bridge the gap between entry-level DIY crafting and professional signage production, allowing machines to run better through refined driver support and updated features.
