Durst Workflow software installed for the 1,000th customer

Durst Group has announced the 1,000th customer installation of Durst Workflow software and highlights how efficiency promotes sustainability.

Durst Workflow software is compatible with a wide range of printing machinery within diverse segments. Whether utilising Durst or non-Durst machinery, clients can leverage the full capabilities of the software to meet their needs.

Michael Deflorian, Business Unit Manager at Durst Software & Solutions, explains: “We are proud that more than 1,000 customers are relying on our solution and are increasing their efficiency by automating their prepress and production operation across different sectors. This underlines the quality of our products and the commitment of our experts, who offer global support to assist our customers in achieving exceptional results.”

Durst says workflow technologies are combining more functions into a single tool. As a result, workflow solutions are increasingly becoming the backbone of their respective print environments, enabling better and more efficient management of the entire process. Johanna Weber, Product Manager of Durst Workflow, explains: “Durst Workflow is a complete browser-based solution that allows the entire PDF workflow to be easily managed, enabling a higher level of efficiency and automation than comparable stand-alone products. This is what makes it unique.”

As resource management increasingly plays a crucial role in sustainability efforts across the print industry, Durst says that their Workflow solution continues to evolve to meet customer needs while optimizing resource consumption. For instance, the Ink Save module reduces ink consumption by up to 35% while maintaining excellent colour accuracy. Durst also explains that Workflow is constantly evolving to simplify complexity and says it is intuitive and user-friendly, empowering non-experts to achieve professional-quality results.

“We are continuously working to make this solution the best one for customers,” explains Serge Clauss, Product Manager Software & Solutions. “Our software is engineered to drive process optimisation and automation, aligning seamlessly with our customers’ objectives.”
