Drytac launches fully recyclable PaperTac White Matte globally

Drytac has announced the global launch of PaperTac White Matte, a PVC-free and fully recyclable self-adhesive paper designed for premium indoor sign and display applications.

Drytac has announced the global launch of PaperTac White Matte. The international manufacturer of self-adhesive materials states that the new premium coated, fully recyclable self-adhesive paper is engineered specifically for high-quality indoor sign and display applications.

Drytac has globally launched its fully recyclable PaperTac White Matte self-adhesive paper.

Now available to print service providers worldwide, PaperTac White Matte provides a sustainable alternative to traditional PVC-based films without compromising on image quality, durability, or ease of use. The material features a 140gsm white matte coated paper paired with a clear permanent adhesive. According to the manufacturer, this construction delivers sharp image reproduction and strong colour vibrancy across aqueous, latex, and UV print technologies. The smooth matte finish helps reduce glare while maintaining visual clarity, making it well-suited for retail environments and indoor promotional spaces.

Drytac developed the product with recyclability at its core. When mounted to a fibre-based display board, the entire graphic can be recycled in a single paper waste stream. There is no need to separate the face paper from the adhesive layer, which helps simplify disposal and reduce signage waste. The company notes that PaperTac achieved a 91/100 recyclability score under the CEPI Recyclability Test. Testing confirmed that both the face paper and adhesive can be recycled together without visual contamination or adhesion issues.

Alongside its sustainability credentials, PaperTac White Matte offers water-repellent and scratch-resistant properties, delivering an indoor durability of up to five years. This makes the material ideal for point-of-sale displays, exhibition graphics, event branding, and mounted posters. Furthermore, because it is compatible with roll-fed printers, the material allows print providers to produce recyclable mounted graphics without the need for flatbed printing equipment.

Steve Payne, Product Specialist at Drytac, comments on the launch. He says, “PaperTac White Matte reflects Drytac’s commitment to delivering innovative solutions that align with the evolving needs of the print industry. By making this product available globally, we’re giving print providers access to a fully recyclable indoor graphics solution that maintains the performance, reliability, and print quality they expect from Drytac materials.”
