China Print Supplies brings Kartech digital cutting tables to UK

China Print Supplies (CPS) has been appointed the exclusive UK partner for the Kartech range of digital flatbed cutting tables

China Print Supplies (CPS) has expanded its hardware portfolio following the announcement of an exclusive UK distribution agreement for the Kartech range of digital flatbed cutting tables. Manufactured by Henan Fayon Tech, the Kartech line-up spans four distinct series, designed to provide sign and print businesses with a high-specification finishing solution that integrates directly with wide-format print workflows.

The range is divided by drive technology to suit different production volumes and material types. The entry-level KT Series and the high-speed Ultra KT utilise a synchronous belt drive, ideal for standard signage materials such as vinyl, foam board, and corrugated plastics. For heavier industrial applications, the XT and GK Series employ a helical gear rack and pinion system. These heavy-duty models handle substrates up to 50mm thick as standard—with a 100mm option—and can be equipped with water-cooled spindles up to 3.0kW for routing aluminium composite, MDF, and acrylic.

A defining feature across all four series is the inclusion of premium features as standard. Each machine ships with CCD camera positioning, multi-zone vacuum beds, anti-drift conveyor belts, and an automatic tool setter (AKI). By including these components in the base price, CPS aims to simplify the procurement process for sign makers, removing the complexity of navigating extensive optional extra lists.

Versatility is provided through a universal tool holder system compatible with ten interchangeable heads. This allows operators to switch between oscillating tools, drag knives, creasing wheels, and V-cut tools without specialist technical knowledge. Consequently, a single machine can transition from contour-cutting labels to producing bespoke packaging prototypes or routing rigid display lettering within a single shift.

Scott Clutton, Managing Director at CPS, explained, “We looked at a lot of cutting tables at the recent exhibition in China before choosing Kartech. What stood out was the spec you get as standard. With most other brands at this price point, half of that would be on the options list. Kartech includes it all out of the box, and the build quality backs it up.”

The hardware is supported by Kartech’s K-Cut control software, which features a logical, tab-based interface designed for ease of use in busy environments. The system supports common file formats including DXF and AI, and offers one-click path generation from JPG images. With a repeatability rating of 0.01mm, the tables ensure high-precision registration for print-to-cut applications, reducing waste on expensive rigid substrates.

To provide a turnkey solution, CPS is offering the cutters in bundle packages alongside its Dlican UV flatbed printers. This allows businesses to establish a complete production cell from a single supplier. Scott Clutton concluded, “This is about giving sign businesses a proper production line without the complexity of dealing with multiple suppliers. You print on the Dlican, you cut on the Kartech, and you have one point of contact for support. That simplicity is what people have been asking for.”

All Kartech products supplied by CPS include a two-year warranty and are supported by the distributor’s Oswestry-based technical team.
