In his new role, Marc will take on customer training days, industry expos and live demonstrations, working alongside Ash to ensure the AD Wrap Center continues to meet the standards it has built its reputation on.

Fourteen years in the trade

Marc started in the industry in 2011 at William Smith, where vinyl graphics were just beginning to take hold. He went on to manage large-scale commercial wrapping projects at Elite Graphics, before launching his own business in 2021. Since then he has worked nationally on commercial vehicle wraps ranging from vans to HGVs, and his work has taken him into international projects with the Williams Formula 1 team.

The AD Wrap Center is designed as a professional environment where wrappers and installers can develop their skills using the latest Avery Dennison technologies. Marc’s appointment is intended to extend the facility’s capacity while maintaining the quality of instruction it is known for.

From the team

Dominic Fowler, Technical Manager at Avery Dennison, says, “At Avery Dennison, we are deeply committed to continuously improving our training offering and the level of support we provide to both our direct customers and their clients. This is why we actively seek out the best talent possible to join our team. Bringing Marc on board reflects that commitment, and we are thrilled to have his expertise driving our mission forward.”

Ash Ellison, Specialist Trainer UK & Ireland, adds, “Having Marc join us at the AD Wrap Center is fantastic news for the wrapping community. The demand for high-tier technical training is growing rapidly, and our facility is designed to deliver exactly that. With Marc on the team, we can expand our reach, elevate our training days, and bring even more energy to upcoming expos.”

Marc Swinbank concludes, “Joining Avery Dennison and working alongside Ash at the AD Wrap Center is an incredible opportunity. The facility itself is amazing, providing the perfect setting for installers to master their craft. I’m incredibly excited to get started, meet our customers at training days and events, and help them unlock the full potential of Avery Dennison’s product range.”
