Artworker has launched a new free online PDF print-readiness checker for printers, trade shops, and their customers.
The service lets users upload a PDF and instantly see whether it meets common print requirements, with no login, signup, or software needed.

Available now at pdfcheck.artworker.com, the tool runs a series of automated checks on each file, flagging common print issues such as missing bleed, RGB colour spaces, low-resolution images, or unembedded fonts. The results appear in a clear report that anyone, from customer service teams to clients, can understand.

“Printers spend a lot of time checking incoming artwork that turns out to have the same avoidable problems,” said Nate Duckworth, Co-Founder of Artworker. “This tool does not replace prepress, but it helps teams and customers identify problems earlier so jobs move faster and with fewer delays.”
Each user can complete three free checks per day on files up to 20 MB in size. Print shops can share the link with their customers, allowing them to run their own checks and reduce the number of problem files that reach production.
The new PDF checker continues Artworker’s focus on building free, practical tools for the printing industry. It follows the company’s free file-sharing service, which helps printers receive artwork from customers securely without login barriers or email attachments.
For printers that need higher capacity or more automation, Artworker also offers paid plans with unlimited checks, automated fixups, and workflow features such as proofing, annotations, branded portals, and MIS integrations.
