Advance Print Solutions adds HP Latex 830W

The Leicestershire-based print business has installed the wide-format printer at its Lutterworth site to boost capacity and expand into vehicle graphics

Advance Print Solutions has installed an HP Latex 830W printer at its Lutterworth facility as it looks to grow its presence in the transport graphics market.

The HP Latex 830W is Advance Print Solutions’ first investment from the HP Latex range

The full-service print business, which covers wide-format and small-format print, retail displays, point-of-sale materials and vinyl graphics, bought the machine through HP distribution partner Perfect Colours. It went into production in April 2026.

The HP Latex 830W prints at up to 36 square metres an hour in outdoor mode, handles media up to 1.63 metres wide, and produces both colour and white output.

It is Advance Print Solutions’ first HP Latex machine. Like other printers in the range, it runs water-based HP Latex Inks, which HP says carry a much lower VOC content than solvent and eco-solvent inks. The white ink also opens up work beyond vehicle graphics, including window graphics, signage and other jobs that need output on coloured or transparent materials.

Sheron Cummins, Managing Director of Advance Print Solutions, said that after “significant research”, the printer stood out for its exceptional reviews and overall capabilities – including its flexibility and quality when used to produce vehicle graphics.

“It was the perfect fit for where we want to take the graphics department,” she says. “We have already seen the benefits first-hand, with increased capacity supporting our continued growth, and it has opened up new opportunities.”

“With strong connections in the transport and logistics industry, we are perfectly placed to support transport organisations with vehicle and company branding,” Sheron concludes. “This is an area where we are excited to grow as a business.”

Aside from vehicle graphics, the machine’s use of white ink will allow Advance Print Solutions to broaden the range of applications it can produce. This includes opening up additional opportunities across window graphics, signage and other specialist projects that require vibrant, high-impact output on coloured and transparent materials.

With the HP Latex 830W now in production, the additional capacity and versatility offered by the machine will support Advance Print Solutions as the company expands into new areas of work.
